not much looking at and thinking just lots of rushing and doing. but here's some scraps:
Overview — PyCozmo 0.8.0 documentation not work related 😂 we were gifted a Cozmo Bot but the app no longer exists as the company has gone bust. so now he's linked up to my laptop so i can tell him to spin round and say hello. spent an embarrassing amount of time trying (unsuccessfully) to get it to play another audio file as my son keeps asking the robot to sing wheels on the bus 🚌🎶

A career ending mistake — Bitfield Consulting this one got me thinking about how we don't really have experts (senior individual contributors) because our salary grading rules don't allow for it. if you want to earn more money you have to be a manager. even if you're an expert, to progress you need to move up to management then you'll spend a lot of time managing not doing. i think a lot of local gov problems come down to how we handle our pay and role structures. not just in a PAY US MORE MONEY sort of way. am torn between putting into a blog post or...
